Soviet social poster “Stop. The last warning” was issued in 1929, during a massive campaign against alcoholism. The poster was created by artist P. Sokolov-Skalya. The poster shows a man drinking vodka from a bottle. The man is going away from his family and he is being stopped by a strong hand on the edge of the abyss. The poster says alcoholism must be stopped, otherwise – death. The poster is created in dark tones, thereby emphasizing the entire negative consequences from alcohol addiction.
