Ramming is the weapon of heroes! 1941

This World War II poster titled «Таран – оружие героев!» (“Ramming is the weapon of heroes”) shows a Soviet aircraft bearing red stars striking a German plane in a heroic aerial ramming attack, with metal fragments flying apart at the point of impact and the enemy machine breaking apart in the sky. Below, another German aircraft is shown spiraling downward in flames, leaving a thick trail of black smoke that emphasizes destruction and defeat. The dramatic diagonal composition and swirling clouds heighten the sense of danger, determination, and self-sacrifice in battle.
