Citrus Juice – Natural Drink 1951

Citrus juice – natural drink («Цитрусовый сок – натуральный напиток») was created in 1951 by artist S. Sakharov. The poster was produced for the Ministry of Food Industry of the USSR (Glavkonserv) and promotes bottled or packaged citrus juice. The image shows a branch of ripe oranges hanging at the top, a tall glass of juice in the center, and a halved orange placed beside the glass. The composition uses a warm, golden palette and simple, realistic rendering to emphasize freshness and naturalness. Large bold type at the bottom declares the product as a “natural drink,” communicating wholesome, modern food production.
